June 9, 2000 We Visit the Getty Center
In the afternoon, we drew a very nice group to the Getty Genter. This
Mass Comm 101 field trip was more self-directed, as students were sent
on a hunt across this world-class facility tp examine how the Getty Center
uses mass media to further the appreciation of great art to regular folks.
The Getty field trip is fun because it allows us to be students and
sightseers at the same time.
