We Join the Search for 'Rosebud' at the Alex Theatre
Charles Foster Kane brought his campaign for governor to Glendale's Alex Theatre as part of the Alex Film Society's screening of Orson Welles' classic "Citizen Kane." The Mass Comm 101 delegation numbered over 50.

Part of the reason for the big turnout was that, more than the other field trips this semester, Mass Comm 101 students brought dates, friends, sisters, brothers, cousins and parents.

Here is a photo gallery of some Mass Comm 101 students and guests.

Some brought dates ...

... or family ...
... or a friend (who is a former Mass Comm 101 student, by the way) ...
... or a cousin (who is also in the class).
Brian Ellis of the Alex Film Society told us about the movie and about the 1925 movie palace it was being shown in.

And, of course, no real consideration of "Citizen Kane" would be complete without encountering Rosebud in the lobby.
