We Examine Media and
Art at the Getty Center
Getty Group  
 The Getty Center is a much-awaited Mass Comm 101 field trip. MC101s are encouraged to roam all around this world class facility to complete an assignment that ties together much of what has been taught in the course to this point.

Here are some of our early arrivals. We eventually drew around 35 MC101s and guests.

Getting to the Getty is part of the fun. We start by going up the tram.

    Getty Summer
Today's field trip seemed particularly festive, perhaps because it was summer school.

It was a nice day to relax, do the assignment, and enjoy the art.
A whole different kind of art is the art of navigating Westside late-afternoon traffic. We got home--eventually--after another fine day of MC101 field trips.
