Glendale Community College sent 27 students and professors John Queen and Dennis Doyle to Dublin, Ireland from June 10 to July 11, 2001. Students studied Irish History and Literature, World Politics and Field Studies in Irish Culture. Here is the class at the famous Hill of Tara, seat of the ancient high kings.

Classes and the students' dorms were on the campus of University College, Dublin.
We did a walking tour of Dublin the first day.

Students also toured part of Northern Ireland, as well as the Hill of Tara, Newgrange, Knowth, and the ancient monastic sites at Mellifont and Monasterboice.
