Our Downtown L.A. Adventure Continues;
But First We Go To Lunch and Take in a Show
MC101 Student John Penn was one of those who toured Downtown between the Times and LAPL field trips. One of Downtown's landmarks, City Hall, looms at right.

Lunch was at the Watercourt atop Bunker Hill. Unfortunately, Angels Flight was not available to us. However, it was worth the trip. We were serenaded with live salsa music at lunch.
The L.A. Central Library has many charms. One of them is the Maguire Gardens, where we met and were introduced to the field trip assignment.
Among other things, the L.A. Public Library is a repository of public art. Judging by the comments, many of the MC101 students were impressed by the facility.
