We Begin Our Trip to the Westside with
the Museum of Television and Radio
The Westside Doubleheader is usually the last two field trips of the semester for Mass Comm 101, and this semester is no exception. The Museum of Television & Radio on Beverly Drive in Beverly Hills was out morning outing. The museum's architect was Richard Meier, who also was architect of the Getty Center.

We drew 38 for this field trip.

I worry about my winter field trips, that it will be rainy and unpleasant. But this day was summer-like, warm and dry. It was just an ideal day to take in the Westside field trips with a classmate or a friend.
After an excellent workshop on Television and the Cold War, we headed across the street for lunch at Johnny Rockets.
Johnny Rockets is always an interesting experience. We have a classic American lunch, put nickels into the juke box, and watch the beautiful people of Beverly Hills pass by.

On to our afternoon field trip at the Getty Center
