MC101Field Trip February 6, 2002
We Examine Television Documentaries at the Museum of Television & Radio
We had surprisingly clear skies and warm temperatures for a full day of winter field trips to media attractions on L.A.'s fashionable Westside.

Our morning field trip was to the Museum of Television & Radio in Beverly Hills.

The winter class was excellent at turning out for field trips all semester, and this outing at the Museum of Television & Radio was no exception. We came to take part in a workshop on the making of television documentaries, past and present. It was a good workshop.
After the workshop, we were given a tour of the museum's library of more than 109,000 television and radio shows. Some of the MC101s tried out the terminals which list the programs available for viewing or listening.
The field trip ended around noon. At that time some of us went across the street to Johnny Rockets for burgers and classic rock 'n roll over nickel-a-song juke boxes.
