MC101Field Trip May 10, 2002
We Ponder Live Television at the Museum of Television & Radio
The Westside doubleheader is the big finish to the semester's MC101 field trips.

Our morning field trip was to the Museum of Television & Radio in Beverly Hills. We attended a well-presented workshop on live television.

It was a pleasant morning. Many of us got there before the museum opened. We were greeted
with sunshine, a soft ocean breeze, and a never-ending parade of people and cars on Beverly
Drive.
After the workshop, we were given a tour of the museum's library of more than 109,000 television and radio shows.
The field trip ended around noon. At that time some of us went across the street to Johnny Rockets for burgers and classic rock 'n roll over nickel-a-song juke boxes.
