The Westside doubleheader is the big finish to the semester's MC101
field trips.
Our morning field trip was to the Museum of Television & Radio in Beverly Hills. We attended a well-presented workshop on television advertising.
| It was a warm morning. Many of us got there before the museum opened.
We were greeted with bright sunshine and a never-ending parade of people and cars on Beverly Drive. |
After the workshop, we were given a tour of the museum's
library of more than 120,000 television and radio shows (I think it was
109,000 as recently as last semester).

The field trip ended shortly after noon. At that time some of us went across the street to Johnny Rockets for burgers and classic rock 'n roll over nickel-a-song juke boxes. |
