History Nipping at Our Heels, We Walk
Though San Gabriel and Alhambra
As we walked through Alhambra, I was startled to see a bright shaft of light emanating from the head of former Soc Sci 127 student Iain Morton. Turned out NOT to be a case of divine possession on the road to L.A. It was just the sun rising behind his noggin. On the right, with baseball cap and backpack, is current Soc Sci 127 student Meleina Oliver.
Also on the walk was Agnes Rudnick of the Glendale College learning Center. The women on the sidewalk in the background were some of the organizers of the event. They'd go a mile or two in the minivan, park, and cheer the group on as it trudged past.
