We Begin Our Trip to the Westside with
the Museum of Television and Radio
The Westside Doubleheader is usually the last two field trips of the semester for Mass Comm 101, and this semester is no exception. The Museum of Television & Radio on Beverly Drive in Beverly Hills was out morning outing. The museum's architect was Richard Meier, who also was architect of the Getty Center.

We had 63 students, plus a few guests who turned out on a beautiful and unseasonably warm fall day.
After an excellent workshop on television documentaries, we headed across the street for lunch at Johnny Rockets.
Johnny Rockets is always an interesting experience. We have a classic American lunch, put nickels into the juke box, and watch the beautiful people of Beverly Hills pass by.
It's a fun break in the middle of the day of field trips.

On to our afternoon field trip at the Getty Center
