MC101 Visits Museum of TV&Radio, Getty Center

The Museum of Television and Radio was our first field trip of the Spring 2000 semester. More than 40 students turned out for a workshop on television documentaries, past and present. Here's a picture of most of our group right after the workshop.
Afterward, we got to see one of the real strengths of the museum, which is its archive of more than 100,000 television and radio programs. Visitors to the museum can go through a database of programs on computers like this one, then go off to a cubicle where the program will be played.

During the noon hour, some of us walked across the street to Johnny Rockets for burgers, fries and talk about what we just saw.
