MC101-SS127 Field Trip
We Relive the Days of Live Television at the Museum of Television & Radio
We got an early start to the Labor Day Weekend with a trip to the Museum of Television & Radio in Beverly Hills. As always, the museum had several special exhibits going on. In this case, they were wrapping up a summer-long retrospective of The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle and had recently begun a series of screenings on The History of Presidential Campaign Advertising.

Actually, the two topics might fit together better than you'd first think. Didn't Bullwinkle run for President?

Our group built slowly, but eventually grew to 30 students. Amy Garawitz did a fine job of leading us through the particular challenges of live television.

Afterward, we grabbed a quick lunch and headed for the Getty Center, where a larger group would await us.
